WHY WOULD I WANT YOUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS INSTEAD OF S*PHORA?

S*phora has some great products! At Humanologie Health & Wellness, we stock what are colloquially known as professional grade products. These are lines that exclusively distribute to clinics like Humanologie that have direct clinician oversight. The lines are similar to mainstream lines but the products are often tailored to customers who are receiving in office treatments like lasers and microneedling. Contrary to popular belief and pervasive social media misinformation, there is no such thing as a medical grade anything. Medical grade is a snazzy marketing term looking to sell you products. There are only two categories of products: cosmetics and drugs.

WHAT BRANDS DO YOU SELL?

At Humanologie Health & Wellness, we are obsessed with skincare! We have tried every product you can think of. We are always on a quest to find products that help people achieve their skin goals. There are so many amazing lines and products out there, including professional brands and products available at places like S*phora. We love products from brands such as Indeed Labs, Regimen Labs, Vivier, ZO, EXO|E/DE|RIVE, and many more.

Ultimately we found that ENVIRON products are the most consistently tolerated, effective, scientifically and philosophically sound, and universal line available. Created by Dr Fernandes, one of the founders of modern microneedling, the line emphasizes the importance of vitamin A for overall skin health and normalization. Historically, products have focused on harsh or unnecessarily strong forms of vitamin A (retinol or tretinoin, for example) which results in retinol reactions, purging, peeling, inflammation, and ultimately, inconsistent use.

Environ's unique vitamin step up system ensures that all products will be well tolerated by anybody allowing the consistent delivery of skin normalizing vitamin A along with other skin essentials like antioxidants, peptides, and moisturizing factors. Consistency is one of the biggest factors in the determining whether an intervention is successful or not.

Environ can be used by any age, gender, and skin type. You can even skip the vitamin C serum if you use AVST or C-Quence!

When the skin is effectively normalized, skin concerns are controlled. DO YOU SELL ANYTHING ELSE?

We partner with Salient Medical who distribute our favourite brand of sunscreen called EltaMD. It's the best sunscreen we've ever used. They have several different lines including one specifically for inflamed and acne prone skin.

We also partner with AMP who distribute the EXO|E and DE|RIVE line of products. These products use exosomes and other plant-based cell signalers to activate fibroblasts, decrease inflammation, help restore hair, and much more. We apply the Repair serum following our in office procedures to help decrease inflammation and discomfort and our clients love it.
