ABOUT LEO

Leo is a Nurse Practitioner who was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Vancouver. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and a Master of Nursing degree. Leo is fluent in English and Cantonese.

Leo started working as a registered nurse in 2015 and after completing his Master of Nursing degree, he registered as a nurse practitioner in 2025. Leo has worked in a variety of practice settings, including in emergency departments, adult and pediatric intensive care units, medically supervised detox, and in primary care.

Leo has heard from many people and personally experienced the challenges of accessing care in our labyrinthine healthcare system. Leo strives to improve people's access to comprehensive and timely healthcare resources and works collaboratively with you and other healthcare professionals to manage your health.

Leo is particularly interested in chronic disease management, addiction medicine, gender affirming and inclusive care, and seeking collaborative ways to facilitate long term health and wellness in the community.

HUMANOLOGIE HEALTH & WELLNESS' philosophy as a whole emphasizes that an entirely reactive and isolated approach to health is unsustainable and ineffective. Leo's care philosophy focuses on the whole patient and emphasizes proactive and preventative care while comprehensively addressing acute concerns.
