WHAT IS THE CRYOPROBE?
A tool that uses pressurized nitrous oxide gas to selectively target offending tissues causing freezing that facilitates the removal of the target tissue and initiates replacement with healthy skin.
WHAT CAN THE CRYOPROBE TREAT?
Any benign skin lesion! Age spots, sun spots, skin tags, molluscum, angioma, milia, moles, fibromas, pigmented areas, seborrheic keratosis, warts, plantar warts, sebaceous hyperplasia...
WHY USE THE CRYOPROBE?
The CRYOPROBE is Health Canada approved, effective, fast, and affordable. Because the CRYOPROBE selectively cools target tissues to the ideal temperature to cause cryonecrosis without getting TOO cold (around -89 vs -100 compared with liquid nitrogen), there is less discomfort, less risk of hyper/hypopigmentation, and less risk of scarring.
HOW LONG IS A TREATMENT?
Each treatment consists of 2 passes of 3-5 seconds per 1 mm of affected tissue. No special after care required.
DOWNTIME OR RECOVERY?
Minimal downtime. 3-4 weeks for full healing of tissue. Large, deep, or persistent targets might need multiple treatments.
